The Stoplight Approach is for everyone!

We want as many people as possible to take it on in their own settings - whether it is a family, a school, a community group, a business or an organization - the Stoplight Approach is designed to be relevant for any setting. Our team consistently creates resources for various environments that provides tools for different ages and contexts.

 
 
 
 

Families

Whether stay-at-home or working, parenting is a full-time occupation - and sometimes it can feel daunting and overwhelming. Stoplight provides parents with resources to help them understand how to develop safe and loving homes to help their children feel loved and connected.


Babies and toddlers

Parenting young children can be overwhelming and exhausting. Your little ones are constantly sending emotional signal that don’t always make sense. Through a partnership with Little Winks we are developing a course to dedicated to Learning your Littles!

School aged Children

Whether in a group, class or home setting, lead your children through 10 interactive lesson to understand their brain and how to improve their emotional intelligence.

Youth

Through the ages of 12-25 the brain matures and develops at a rapid pace. My Mysterious Mind is a book is geared towards helping Teenagers and young adults navigate the complexities of their world and mind.

 

Organizations

We hope to integrate our resources into organizations working with people of all ages and abilities. We also aim to impact on a systemic level by implanting the Stoplight Approach into national levels, for example by integrating it into teacher training. The approach can be applied to workplaces for conflict management and to sustain overall wellbeing of employees.

Stoplight presents teachers with the tools to understand emotional intelligence, develop trust based relationships with their students, and figure out how best to respond to the myriad of behavioural issues they face each day.

The Stoplight Approach has been beneficial to organizations such as L’Arche Manchester in providing a common language and understanding.

trauma and grief

The Approach can and has been applied in refugee contexts and to people dealing with different kinds of trauma and grief. Coming soon is a book focused on grief.

Faith Based Communities And Churches

Learn about the spiritual components of the Stoplight Approach! We have a version of our books for children, youth and parents which connect the bible and brain. These are perfect for children’s camps, Sunday school, youth groups and small groups.
